Miguel has struggled with repeated respiratory problems since birth. The BTBH Pediatric Palliative Care team has supported Miguel and his family with compassionate care for more than four years.
Xavier was born with a genetic immune deficiency and a prognosis of no more than two years. Through the efforts of the BTBH Pediatric Palliative Care program he has now made it to his ninth birthday.
